The NACW conference was a great learning experience for me. I had the opportunity to coordinate several pre-conference and side events and had the pleasure of meeting Secretary Adams. She struck me as an easy-going person with a cheery disposition. This in the face of an unpredictable state and national environmental future. Reading Jennifer’s interview with Secretary Adams gives me optimism that Cal-EPA is in very capable hands. That Linda leads by example and sets a diplomatic tone for her colleagues will benefit all Californians. I am proud to be a supporter of Cal-EPA and Secretary Linda Adams.

I'm really glad to read that Secretary Adams is doing everything she can to set a personal example for sustainable living. If more of our government officials rode bikes and took public transport, our bicycling infrastructure and bus/rail systems would surely be vastly improved!
