James Grabert

James Grabert is Manager for Project & Entity Assessment (CDM/JI) at the United Nations Climate Change Secretariat (UNFCCC) in Bonn, Germany. His work focuses on the Kyoto Protocol project-based mechanisms as well as broader carbon market and emissions trading issues, including consideration of the post-2012 developments. With 15 years climate change experience, prior to working on carbon market issues, he was as a greenhouse gas emissions specialist for the UNFCCC and worked in numerous expert groups of the IPCC. Prior to joining the United Nations, he worked for the World Economic Forum.

Mr. Grabert holds a B.A. in Economics and International Relations from Wheaton College and a Masters of International Economics from the Graduate School of International Studies in Geneva, Switzerland.
