Chris is the California Program Director for The Conservation Fund. Prior to joining the Fund, Chris spent 12 years in various positions at the Nature Conservancy, including service as the first Director of Conservation Programs for the California program where he oversaw the design, development and implementation of innovative conservation efforts throughout California. Prior to his work at The Nature Conservancy, he practiced land use law with Bingham McCutchen and corporate law with Cooley Godward Kronish in San Francisco. He holds a J.D. from the University of California at Davis, and an B.A. in Philosophy from the University of California at Berkeley.
