Yvonne McIntyre is Vice President of Federal Legislative Affairs for Calpine Corporation. In this capacity, she is responsible for developing, managing and implementing the federal legislative and regulatory strategies for the Company. She lobbies Members of Congress, the Administration, regulatory agencies, and their perspective staff on various issues, with a particular focus on energy and environmental issues. Ms. McIntyre has worked in the field of government relations for 15 years and in the power industry for 21 years. Prior to Calpine, Ms. McIntyre was the Director of Federal Affairs for Mirant Corporation for three years; she was a lobbyist for Kansas City Power and Light for two years and for Detroit Edison for four years. She has worked extensively on issues relating to national energy policy, climate change and Clean Air Act issues, and tax and other issues relating to renewable energy technologies. Ms. McIntyre holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from Oakland University in Rochester, MI and a Master of Business Administration Degree with a concentration in International Business from Wayne State University in Detroit, MI.
